Everybody Manga!

Sorry, but doesn't the word manga sound like some sort of dance?

Of course that's not the case. Manga are Japanese comics, and I've finally had my first reprint (At the Billionaire's Bidding) translated into the Manga format. I know it sounds silly but I've been hoping for this, and I'm so excited that I just had to share! Who knew one of my romances would ever appear in comic form?

Here's the cover:

And here's part of the inside (sorry it's a bit crooked, but you get the idea):

Forgive me for being so bouncy about this. (I know I've gone a bit over the top here).

Best Wishes and Have a Great Day!

I have seen 1 or 2 other authors blog about their books becoming Manga... It is really interesting to see a romance book turned into a comic... love anime... never really looked at Manga... cool idea!

Colleen, before this I had downloaded a manga novel by Liz Fielding (in English) just to see what they did with it. It's kind of interesting, because there's obviously a lot of plot missing, but still fun. I don't know a whole lot about anime, but I loved Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle (do those count as anime)? There's another one that one of my former editors recommended and I can't remember the name (unfortunate, since I wanted to watch it. I don't think it's Princess Mononke or even by the same director). Tell me the names of some you liked. I'd really like to watch more but I'm overwhelmed by choices.

Anime is animation from Japan... there are so many that I have not even watched out there... right now I am following Naruto Shippuden online with subtitles. In the past I have watched Naruto, Sailor Moon, Gundam 00, Code Geass... all series. Have watched a few movies too... there is such a variety.
My family thinks I am weird that at my age I still watch cartoons, but I love them!

I'm writing down some of those names. We love cartoons around here!
