More Animal Cuteness...Kitten and Teddy Bear

Whether you're a cat lover or not, whether you even have a cat or not (I don't), how can you resist a cat hugging a teddy bear?

I hope you're having a great lead-in week to Easter. How many of you have pets? Any cat owners? Former cat owners? Teddy bear owners? (I am a teddy bear sucker, but I don't allow myself to buy any, because it would quickly become an obsession).

Have a wonderful day!

This morning my daughter & I saw a chicken running loose across the road from us. We watched the neighbours cat stalk it, down low on its belly creeping forward. As soon as the chicken swung around to face it the cat turned it's attention elsewhere. It was as if some primeval force compelled the cat to stalk but being a house cat with no great ill intent. The cat went home & the chickens - plural by now - were rounded up & put back in the coop. It was fascinating. We were ready to intervene but it was not necessary.

Mary, I would have loved to have seen that! Animals are amazing to watch. We don't get to see much animal action around here (suburbs), but at this time of year we do see birds that are on their way elsewhere that we never see the rest of the year. And the occasional creature that wandered over from the forest preserve (mostly raccoons and opossums). Once last fall we went for a walk and there had obviously been a skunk in the area. Not too excited about that.

How cute! I have been watching my resident chipmunk and her 8 babies playing around the yard... they are adorable!
When my sister first got her pup she would sleep with this tiny cat toy duck... she was just as small. Since she has grown, but now has a bunny toy she always plays with... Happy Earth Day & Wishing you a wonderful Easter!

Colleen, baby chipmunks? I'd love to see that! We don't have them at my home in Illinois (although my sister, who lives only 20 minutes away has them in her yard), and while I've seen my share, I don't think I've ever seen babies.

And I love the story about your sister's pup. Isn't it cute when they have their favorite little toys?
