Below is the cover and a brief intro of Lucas and Gen's story. For those of you who read it, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. HOWEVER, I want to note that I never ask people if they've read my books, or if I know they have read them, I never ask whether they liked the book. In my opinion, what goes on between a reader and her books is private unless she chooses to make it public. We're all different, we all like different things, and I don't want anyone to ever feel uncomfortable or put upon. So...if you're entering the contest, which requires a comment, feel free to simply say: "Congratulations!" or "Glad to hear it," or "Man, it's cold in my part of the world today!" You get the picture. Anything will do. Really. We're all friends here, and I want you to feel comfortable coming here, not worrying that I'll be bugging you or fishing for compliments.
Lucas is confident that Genevieve's passion and talent are what he needs to get his women's shelter off the ground. And it's personally important to him that it's a success. Genevieve could be the perfect colleague as long as he can turn a blind eye to her beautiful face, her shimmering red hair and absorbing green eyes….
Also, advance warning, a reissue of one of my favorite books is happening today, too. To be continued tomorrow...
Happy Reading and Best Wishes!

I love the fact that you 'get' the relationship between reader & book. It is a private time & when I am ready to share my thoughts I will. I was most fortunate to receive a book from you in the post today & I am ready to dive in & hide.

Happy Release Day! I will say that I have never been disappointed in a single book of yours that I have read. Your books always leave me with a smile on my face. Happy April! :)
Myrna, Myrna, Myrna.
I really should pull out your book and read it. Honest.
There's one slight problem: I am in the middle of reading another book and want to finish it first, but it is taking me forever to read it. I won't mention who it is written by, but it is an anthology and I've never read anything like it before. I believe it would be called "erotic". Holy catfish! Much as I won't be buying any more of them (for sure!), I can't seem to put the book down! I keep wondering what else this book is going to teach me (as apparently I have led a VERY sheltered life)!
In the meantime, I have your book at the top of my TBR pile. I WANT to read it right away, but I feel like I must finish what I started - as if I quit mid-book, I haven't given it or the authors a fair shake (pun intended?, LOL).
Mary, thank you for understanding. I hope you enjoy the book!
Colleen, you have no idea how happy that makes me. By the time I finish a book, I'm in love with my characters, but I know that not everyone will love them, so I'm so glad that you've enjoyed them (I'm smiling, too)!
Elaine, Elaine, Elaine, by all means, you *must* give that other author a fair shake. LOL I'm picturing you with your eyes open very wide (which is tough, given that you and I have never met and I don't know what you look like). Please, continue your education, read right to the end...and enjoy!
:-D
Oh, and to everyone visiting, I'm drawing the first winner tomorrow, so I'll check back in to make the announcement if things don't get too crazy around here. Otherwise, Sunday for sure. Take care!
Myrna
Myrna, the cover for "Rags to Riches Bride" is one of the loveliest that I've ever seen. It is as beautiful as a fairy tale come true! I look forward to reading Lucas and Gen's story. Genevieve is one of my very favorite names for a heroine : )

Virginia, thank you! (Not that I had anything to do with the cover, other than sending along some details and some graphics as examples). The artist did such a nice job, didn't he (or she)? I love it, too! (I wish I knew who the artist was. I would thank them for creating such lovely work).
