Speedpainting a Parrot

Born on this day: Roseanne Cash, Bob Dylan, Priscilla Presley, Queen Victoria (via NNDB)

We used to (and sometimes still) like watching those painting shows on television. You know, the ones that make it look so easy. Here's a different kind of painting. The artist is using a tablet. Basically, painting on a computer.

Fascinating, but that looks almost more difficult than painting with an actual brush (except, I guess you could easily fix things...if you knew what you were doing).

Any artists in your life? Did you ever try your hand at painting...or painting with a computer?

Have a great day!

I could not paint or draw to save my life. No artists in this family at all. I admire those who are talented though.

I did paint for school and I tried a portrait of my grandparents... they came out okay. I also took Computer art graphics in school, but the programs were nothing like they are today! I will stick with my drawings and art projects over painting...

I do love the fact that we all have our own strengths and interests (whether it's gardening, knitting, cooking, painting or...whatever). I can't paint to save my life but my photographer son has many artist friends and the variety of work they do is so much fun to see.
