I don't have a GPS, although I've used one. I'd never give up my maps, though. I recently read a story where a woman had gotten lost in...I think it was Death Valley. A ranger said that it wasn't the first time. People were driving off on roads that had been abandoned for years, because their GPS's told them to. So they ended up lost. In the desert! Still...a GPS is nice, as long as you also carry a map with you for backup.

I'm great with a map, but I know my daughter wants a GPS to play with.
