I always find it fun when "the future" as shown in books and movies actually approaches or passes. We get to compare what people dreamed and what actually came to pass. What fun!

It's like our evolving cell phones (Star Trek communicators) or GPS systems in our cars (Star Trek computers speaking like humans). These things were unheard of in the sixties.
I just hope I can still balance on a hoverboard by the time they become commonplace.
