We had a tornado hit my hometown back in 1973. I was over a thousand miles away at the time (on my way with my parents to my sister's place in Alberta), but my 18-year-old brother was home. A big tree branch conked him on the head (so, to this day, we all blame that on how he turned out, so to speak, LOL). I am glad I missed it, as I'm sure I'd still have bad dreams. Couldn't get over how this was no big deal on the video. Guess I am not used to them like they are....
I think that must be it (the being used to it) because I would have been totally freaking out. I can't imagine what was going through your brother's mind when that tornado hit! Scary stuff.
