Never Again Grace Elizabeth! (The Dubious Joys of Amusement Parks)

This is why I'm so awful at amusement parks. I'm not much different from this father. (Note: how the little girl seems totally unfazed by the ride and really seems to be enjoying herself).

I'm glad I watched the second half, as it was different from the first half. Imagine if they'd continued riding!
I too am much like the dad on this: I'd do it for my kid(s) but not for myself. By any means. In fact, I might not do it for my kids, now that I think more about it!

My kids knew that I couldn't handle anything that makes a person dizzy (as a child I used to get carsick), so my husband always had to be the one who handled those kinds of rides.

I have become a dizzy brunette (going grey-head) since hitting peri-menopause (probably menopause). Every time I turn around suddenly when playing badminton, I get dizzy. My partner seems to enjoy watching all my quirks, like the dizziness, the hot flashes, my stomach upsets, my crying at the drop of a dime, and then there's all the badminton injuries on top of that! Oh, the joys!
