As a writer, I've spent a lot of time studying body language, figuring out how to move people across rooms realistically, where to put body parts during embraces or fights and how to indicate emotional reactions without dialogue. So blushing comes into play now and then. When I'm writing, I'm not thinking about the science behind blushing, but as a person, I'm always looking for the answers to why things happen.
