Some Things Never Get Old...Like Advice on Peeling Potatoes

I don't make potatoes often, and when I do, I usually have just one or two large ones, so a paring knife does the trick. But today I had a whole bunch of little potatoes, and I could only imagine how long that was going to take and how much potato I would lose in the process (not to mention scraping my knuckles). So I went looking for a better way (I knew about boiling, but I wanted the details fresh in my mind). So here's an old video (11 million + views--you've probably all seen this already) by Dawn Wells (Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island) to demonstrate the process.

And no, I didn't have Idaho potatoes. Not sure what they were, but now they're peeled potatoes, which was all I cared about.
