Best Books Lists

I love reading book lists, but I don't like composing them myself (it's a bit too close to home), so once again, I'm going to fall back on the Best of 2013 book lists composed by other readers. I feel rather bad about the fact that genre fiction is often passed over in these lists, but then again, no list will ever be all-inclusive, and every list is colored by the reviewer's personal tastes, anyway. My wish is simply that readers find at least one new book they would like to read. That's good enough for me.

I'm glad there are so many good books out there, but it does make it difficult to choose. And if I had to name the best book I've read this year, I'm not sure that I could. While I'm reading each one I've loved, that particular book is the best, because it's the one claiming my attention at the time. Of course, I have favorites, long lists of favorites, but this post is not about me. It's all about other people's lists, so I hope that you find something you'll love.
