P. L. Travers and Saving Mr. Banks

I went to see Saving Mr. Banks a week or so ago and really enjoyed it. So much of the appeal of the movie is that it's a wonderful character study of P. L. Travers. Here Emma Thompson discusses the woman and her relationship with Walt Disney.

Now, of course, I have to know more about P. L. Travers. I've read about her on the internet (there's a lot that isn't included in the movie), but I also want to read Mary Poppins, She Wrote: The Life of P. L. Travers by Valerie Lawson. I love it when a movie leads me to a new book!

On my reading list too. My daughter drew this book to my attention.
