If Lord of the Rings Was a Bit Confusing in Places...Here's the Story on the Ring
This is why C.G.P. Grey is so awesome. He not only explains geography, politics and religion (among other things), he also understands his Tolkien. And even if you know Lord of the Rings inside and out, you might find this video interesting. Here goes:

Indeed. I guess it just goes to show that many decades after the release of his books, Tolkien is still timely (and universal). I just read that in 2009, Forbes magazine ranked him the 5th top earning dead celebrity.
