Reusing a Cereal Box as a Mailer

Yesterday while I was looking for the video for the gift bag, I ran across this video on how to use a cereal box as a mailer. Since it's clearly posted by a woman who is an online retailer, I was doubly intrigued because it must work. My only question is...why haven't I been doing this all along? It seems so sensible for items that don't need a lot of packing material.

And, in case you're interested, here's Dear Lil' Devas, the Toronto-based shop that made this video. They sell yoga clothing and accessories. I know nothing of them, but I do like their video and their efforts to ship green.

You`ve done it again, Myrna! I have saved this video to watch again when I get home from vacation, as I am SURE that I will make lots of gift boxes now. Why not, especially when I have oodles of plastic/silk flowers to help pretty them up, so to speak! Yup, my scrapbooking paper, cutters, glue, etc. will definitely come in handy.
Thanks again!

Elaine, when I first saw this video I wondered why I hadn't seen it/thought of it before. It's such a simple but useful (and economical) idea, isn't it? I hope you're enjoying your vacation!
