The Perfect Guy?
Writing romance novels, I've spent a lot of time exploring what makes a man appealing. Obviously, the perfect guy is different for different people, and let's face it, perfection itself is boring. So, there is no "perfect," but there are qualities most of us admire. I have my own set of attributes that I tend to return to again and again in writing heroes. Hopefully, those also resonate with readers.

Goes to show you never know where love will find you ... or rather, where you'll find love.
When I was "looking" way back in the seventies/eighties, I wanted a guy with a cute butt. I would watch badminton games and people would ask me the score, but I didn't know. Then they'd ask who was winning. I still didn't know ... because I was watching something else. Then I met my husband. He has no butt. Go figure.
My husband enjoyed/enjoys a female's upper anatomy. My nickname in high school was Prairie Provinces (because they are flat). Go figure, LOL. (Lucky for him, I grew larger after nursing our children, LOL!)
So ... you never know (and we're coming up on our 35th wedding anniversary this year)!!!
Thanks, Myrna....
35 years? That's awesome! LOL on not knowing the score of the badminton games because you were looking at...um...something else and on how your plans went awry (sort of), but turned out just right in the end. I was one of those who didn't know exactly what I was looking for, but I knew I'd found the right one when I met my husband. (We're heading for 34 years this July).
Smiled when I read you said "... turned out just right in the end." My mind went elsewhere, LOL.
Our anniversary is July 11. When is yours?
Oh, you are bad! LOL Our anniversary is the 31st.
