Unusual Wedding Traditions

It's been a long time since I've posted anything wedding-related, but here's a Mental Floss devoted to weird wedding traditions that I found interesting. I went for a long haul between weddings, and when I attended several last year, I was intrigued to find how much wedding traditions at the reception had changed over the years, and I liked many of the modern additions/substitutions.

But these historical traditions were fun to hear about.

Have a wonderful day!

Well, Myrna, *I* watched the video and enjoyed it a bunch. Thanks for sharing! Who knew all those things? (He did!)
That reminds me. I have some DQ birthday cake in my freezer from last week. I'd better go eat it now before it goes bad, LOL!

LOL on your ??? which was, I assume, directed to the strange comment above it. I get spam comments from time to time (someone was apparently trying to sell dehumidifiers) and I have to go in and delete them.

Yes, you'd better eat that DQ birthday cake. We wouldn't want it to go bad! :-)

Yes, Myrna. I thought I'd clicked Reply but apparently didn't. I'm glad you could delete it.

I held off on the BD cake until suppertime. Took me forever to defrost it a little in the microwave first so I could get a big knife through it, but I persevered and eventually enjoyed a tiny slice. Still have about a 2" slice left. Hmmmm....

Hah! You have more willpower than I do. I would have already eaten that 2" slice (which is why I can't have cake in my house). LOL
