I Thought I'd Lived in Some Small Places

This just goes to show you how expensive New York is (but it might be fun for a few months if I was in my early twenties, just for the sake of experiencing the Big Apple). And I do like the idea of simplifying my life. Not too sure about the sleeping area, though.

Feeling claustrophobic yet? Would you do this (given the right set of circumstances)?

Have a great day!

If I were about 30 years younger I would give it a go. I like my home comforts too much now. I no longer go for BBQ's on the beach at 3 in the morning for example.

Reminds me of a cruise I took once... small cabin, used the top bunk... the ladder to get down was right up against the cabin door...

No way. First of all I like the wide open spaces of The West...I have to be able to look out a window and see the horizon or I feel hemmed in....I wouldn't make it an hour being in that space. Kudos to her.

I hope they do a follow up on this someday. Three years is a long time to sleep in a bed like that, but by now she seems to be use to it (and likes it). I wonder if she'll still be there in another 5 years.
