I'm in a Maine Kind of Mood

It's been two months since we visited Maine, but today I came across some photos we'd taken while we were there.

At low tide, you can walk across to Bar Island.

The water was a bit choppy.

I love the sound of aspens in the breeze.

 

At The Bubbles, you can hike up the mountain (s, since there are two of them), or you can hike around Jordan Pond. Here we're on the mountain looking down at the pond hikers crossing a bridge.

 Almost half of the Jordon Pond path is hiked on the top of split logs to avoid damaging the bog ecosystem.
