A Touching Proposal
Omar Kenawi has been dating Susan long-distance for almost two years. Her favorite musical is Rent and she had once told him that one of her dreams was to be in a musical, so to propose to her, he engaged a group of a cappella singers to perform a number from that show. Her friends have brought her to the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, and she thinks that Omar is thousands of miles away. (I love the fact that he doesn't have the most wonderful voice in the world, but he sings, anyway. That made it even more touching). Laney4, tears of joy are very nice, aren't they (says the woman whose husband keeps a tissue handy for her when we're watching movies that are either very sad or very happy). I hope you had a great weekend (mine was cold, but I got to stay inside and read, so that was okay).
